Biography: you cannot feel a thing until you stop seeing it.art to me is content with being as non conceptual as things really are if we come closest to them and eliminate the aspects of sight (perception/memory/language/clothing etc) that almost always exist between you and a thing. i separate two of my interests distinctly- visual narration through design, and pure art.illustration falls somewhere between the two.While design is an act of seeing/stepping out of yourself entirely, art for me lies in acknowledging form (and presence) through lines and their tactile ability, whose function at best is perhaps a doccumentaion of things for what they are to me in the moment.although creation in itself is a conceptual act and and an object or feeling in its truest form can only be diminished by represenation,for anything to be truth,it must be nothing less than a sum of all its parts.either,design or art, for me has one thing in common- abstraction,or the reduction of a thing to its nudest form. i have illustrated a childrens book for tulika books, chennai. and done several illustrations for various internal publications at srishti school of art during my course of study.currently working on a short graphic novel. i work with limited mediums- mainly pencil and acrylic.
